Spin a wheel. The roulette randomly picks meals you will cook this week. The idea is to reduce the cognitive load of deciding what's for dinner.

Yes, the app is free because it is still in beta. I'm building it based on what users actually need — you're welcome to provide feedback using the feedback button. When paid features arrive, there will most likely be a small fee, but early beta testers will be rewarded with free access for a year.

Yes! Simply screenshot the recipe on your phone and upload the screenshot to the app. Coming soon: just paste the URL to add a recipe directly.

Yes, you can. We use AI to read the recipes and if the photo is clear, it would mostly produce good results.

Yes! Everyone needs to add coffee or milk to their weekly shopping, so you can add as many extra items as you wish.

Yes! Both the shopping list and the weekly meal plan are shareable.

To save you headspace, the app decides for you. If you're not happy with a choice, you can replace any meal with a new random pick. On mobile, swipe left. On desktop, hover over a meal and click the ↺ icon.

No problem. The app has about 30 of our favorite family recipes — mostly vegetarian and vegan — that you can include in your weekly rotation straight away.

About the creator

I am a mom of two young boys. I live in the Swiss countryside with my husband — our village has no food delivery, so every meal has to be home-cooked, even lunches.

Before I created this app, it would take me ages to go through my cookbooks, create a meal plan and compile a shopping list each week. I tried delegating this to AI first, but I didn't like the recipe recommendations it gave me. I wanted to cook the recipes we already know and love.

When I got pregnant the second time, I knew I needed a simpler solution. So I selected 30 recipes we cook all the time and built this app. After a week, my friends told me they wished they could add their own recipes — and that's how this idea came to be.
