About the app
Meal Plan Roulette is a simple tool for people who are tired of deciding what to cook each week. You spin a wheel, the app picks your meals, and generates a consolidated shopping list sorted by aisle — in seconds.
The app works in two ways: you can upload photos of your own recipes and let the roulette pick from them, or you can use our curated collection of about 30 family recipes — mostly vegetarian and vegan — straight away.
No AI-generated recipes. No meal plans invented by an algorithm. Just your food, decided for you.

I live in a Swiss village with my husband and two young boys. Our village has no food delivery, so every meal has to be home-cooked — including lunches. Before I built this app, it would take me ages to go through my cookbooks, create a meal plan, and compile a shopping list each week.
I tried delegating meal planning to AI first, but I didn't like the recipe recommendations it gave me. I wanted to cook the recipes we already know and love — not recipes invented on the spot.
When I got pregnant the second time, I knew I needed a simpler solution for the postpartum period. So I selected 30 recipes we cook all the time and built this app. After a week, my friends told me they wished they could add their own recipes — and that's how this idea came to be.
